Judith Stewart Gohringer
My Art Work:
I am drawn to the mid-20th century contemporary artists; particularly the abstract expressionists as well as aboriginal art work and outsider art. I usually paint in acrylics on paper and sometimes on board. Most often my work is purely abstract but occasionally I will paint in a stylized representational manner, landscapes being my favorite. I am often inspired by my summers spent canoe camping in the Canada.
I have exhibited and sold in the Rochester area and am a 2 time winner at Artist Row. My work is currently for sale in The Gallery Store at The Memorial Art Gallery and at ShopOne2 at Rochester Institute of Technology. I am a member of The Arena Art Group.
